Black Pepper Dogwear is 100% Australian Designed and 100% Australian Made. By buying our products you are also supporting a range of other Australian small Businesses.

We know how important it is to support our local Australian Businesses, families and to keep manufacturing in this great country of ours. I myself currently work in a small family run, Australian owned manufacturing company and know how tough it is out there at the moment. I thank them so much for giving me a job during the COVID pandemic when no one else would. It is Aussie companies like these that have our full support!

We have searched all around Australia, from coast to coast (Western Australia over to Queensland) to find quality materials from Australian businesses to make your top quality dog wear products.

FABRICS

Our fabric is purchased from several Australian businesses from Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and of course Queensland. Supporting local designers and small family run businesses, we stock a range of unique, fun and colourful prints. Some of our fabric suppliers:

SEWING SUPPLIES

Our sewing supplies are purchased locally in Brisbane, Queensland. Our local sewing business is located down the road from us, Echidna Sewing, and is a 100% Australian Owned Family Business since the 1990's. We also purchased our sewing machine from them and they were fantastic. We also buy miscellaneous sewing products from Birch Creative, which has been a trusted Australian Company since 1926.

PACKAGING SUPPLIES

We also source Australian made products for our packaging supplies. For our woven labels, hang tags and wrapping we use local Family Run Business Bags & Tags located in Brisbane. The quality of their tags are amazing. For our Mailing Boxes, we use OzPack, located in New south Wales, which is 100% Australian owned and operated. Our Satchels are from Hero Packaging, which is also Australian Owned and operated. We chose their Yarli Creative Indigenous Design, and 20% of the proceeds from the sale of these mailers go directly to Children's Ground. Children's Ground is an organisation led by Aboriginal Communities, they work with children, families and communities that face the greatest exclusion and live with injustice and disadvantage every single day.
